Mogens Lassen a conçu la table égyptienne ML10097 après s’être inspiré des supports pliants trouvés dans la tombe de Toutankhamon en 1922. La table a été présentée pour la première fois à l’exposition de la Guilde des ébénistes de Copenhague en 1940.
