Chroma Type 301
Détail
Since 2002, the Chroma Type 301 knife has found many proponents around the world including the Alain Ducasse training centres.
“If knives were sexy, this is the Megan Fox of knives” (Andy’s Kitchen, Misc. Foodie Reviews).
It is true that this knife looks so fabulous, we feel ready to pounce. Note that the knife is held vertically in front, between thumb and forefinger, and horizontally behind between atrial and palm. The FA Porsche design team designed this knife with a handle inverted from for the blade for an inimitable touch. The knife adapts to all hands, large or small, as it fits the shape of the hand.
Technically has Porsche turned to what it does best, Japanese steel, and entrusted to the manufacture to Chroma Inc. The steel was chosen on criteria balancing hardness and ease of sharpening: superior steel with a strong carbon content, sharp but easy to maintain with a whetstone, extra-flat angles, shapes without heel. The result is astounding in terms of both performance and comfort, and is ideally suited to both professional and hobby chefs.
